FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire at a commercial building in Carlisle over the weekend.
Crew from the city's East and West Fire Stations arrived at the industrial unit in Lancaster Street shortly after 11.30am on Saturday.
It had started in a laser engraving machine.
Firefighters extinguished the fire using two sets of breathing apparatus, a hosereel and a positive pressure ventilation fan, to make the scene safe. They were in attendance for about half an hour.
