The first crown court appearance of a man accused of causing the death of a family on Father's Day has been pushed back.
David Logan, 47, of Broughton Road, Dalton, will make his first appearance at Preston Crown Court on Thursday July 30, accused of causing the death by dangerous driving of Joshua Flynn, 37, his son Coby-Jay, 15, and daughter Skylar, 12. The family, along with their dog Troy, were killed while out for a Father's Day walk when they were hit by a Peugeot 206 on Abbey Road in Dalton, at about 2.30pm on Sunday, June 21.
Mr Logan was originally set to appear in court on Friday but the hearing was postponed.
