TV JUDGE Robert Rinder paid a visit to the Lake District and took part in a litter pick in response to the state of the countryside.

The iconic reality television star, and practising lawyer, visited various locations in Cumbria, including Ullswater and Penrith.

At seeing the amount of litter spread across the county, Rinder took part in a volunteer litter pick up.

He posted a picture of himself collecting litter to Twitter with the caption ‘Don’t worry, someone else will pick it up’.

Also, whilst on his holiday, Rinder paid a visit to the Alhambra Cinema in Penrith and the Lake District Holocaust Project.

He was also seen on top of Scafell Pike with athlete star Greg Rutherford doing a press up challenge, and even paid a visit to Ullswater.

The Lake District has experienced a wave of littering and other forms of anti-social behaviour since the lockdown was lifted around visiting.

Rinder posted images of the amount of litter he came across in Cumbria and his actions were praised online by the public and local organisations.

Friends of the Lake District thanked Rinder for his efforts over Twitter.

“You absolute star. It is so sad that you and others have to do this.”

The iconic TV Judge rose to prominence through his court room reality show ‘Judge Rinder’, and later in his career ‘The Rob Rinder Verdict’ show.

He competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 and is also a legal columnist who writes for the Sun Newspaper.
