AS SUMMER approaches new services and activities will be offered for Cumbrian families with young children.

As many have become accustomed to life in lockdown, the sudden option to leave home may leave some with scheduling difficulties.

Cumbria County Council are working with partners to put on a new activity service for families during the summer holidays.

A list of activities and services will be available on the County website and updates will be made throughout.

"If you are looking for childcare and activities for your children over the summer break, Cumbria County Council and partners have put a list together of available services and activities in your area."

Advice, support, and guidance will be on offer for families with children and young people up until the age of 19.

Also, on offer is information on local childcare, free early years provision, support and advice groups, maternity and paternity rights and benefits.
