RESCUERS were called after a nine-year-old boy suffered a head injury falling from his bike in the Lake District.
Langdale/Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team (LAMRT) was called out to the incident at Oak Howe, Great Langdale, at around 6.30pm on Thursday.
An LAMRT spokesman said the boy was treated by team members and evacuated to an ambulance.
