INCIDENT: Cyclist left with injuries
A CYCLIST was left with serious injuries following a collision on Walney.
Police were called to the incident on the Promenade, close to the junction with Central Drive, at around 5pm yesterday after receiving a report of a cyclist colliding with a trailer which was parked at the side of the road.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said an air ambulance attended the scene and the cyclist, a local man in his 60s, was taken to hospital.
Witnesses are urged to contact police, quoting incident 136 of July 9, 2020.
