A firefighter battles at Furness Golf Course
BARROW and Walney firefighters were called to a blaze at Furness Golf Club at 3am.
The firefighters were on site until 6.45am.
The fire is believed to have been set deliberately, and firefighters are now working alongside police while investigations take place.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue station manager Roger Exley said: "Both Walney and Barrow firefighter's are asking people to be vigilant across their communities and report any suspicious or anti-social behaviour to the police."
