A DRINK driver appeared in court after she was charged with causing damage to property in a car crash.
Zoe Humphrey, 48, appeared before the bench at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow, where she admitted three offences.
The efendant was said to have committed the offences on May 2 on Bath Street in Barrow.
After she pleaded guilty to one count of drink driving, the court heard Humphrey was nearly three times the legal limit for alcohol.
Magistrates were told that tests revealed she had 100 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - considerably higher than the legal threshold of 35mcgs.
She was also charged with failing to stop after a collision in her Peugeot 308 on the street as well as failing to report the incident.
It was said damage was caused to property on the street.
For the offences, magistrates disqualified her from driving for 26 month.
The court ordered her to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work on top of that.
Humphrey, of Collingwood Street in Barrow, was also ordered to undertake six months of alcohol dependency treatment.
