A MILLOM mum has created a litter picking group on social media in a bid to unite like-minded individuals after making a grisly discovery on a recent clean-up.
'Around the Combe Litter Pickers' has been set up by Charly Pyne, 31, a regular litter picker at Hodbarrow Nature Reserve.
The reserve is home to a variety of birds, including a large number of wildfowl in the winter.
Charly had recently been on a clean-up with her husband, young son and family dog when she came across a whole host of rubbish, clothes, and unopened bottles of alcohol.
But, the most disturbing of all, was the discovery of 'crusty underwear' that had been left abandoned.
Charly Pyne said: “I have set up this group for all you like minded individuals who want to see our beloved countryside, towns, villages and beaches free from litter.”
