THE Kepplewray Centre in Broughton has announced it will be reopening on July 4 with a new and adapted range of outdoor activities.
The new activities include stand-up paddle boarding.
Several new boards have been delivered to the centre, following popular demand.
Larger units hold up to six or eight people.
The centre also plans to roll out packaged activities designed for schools which complement the National Curriculum and learning objectives. These include ‘Beach School’, ‘Stone Age Day’ and ‘Duddon Source to Sea’.
A spokesman said the centre had implemented necessary social distancing measures - such as one-way traffic around the centre, staggered meal times, and daily temperature checks using infrared thermometers - to ensure health and safety for those visiting the centre.
