A TOWN centre newsagents has been sold.
Fitzsimmons Newsagents in Barrow was originally put up for sale in October.
The Cavendish Street shop was up for auction with a guide price of £40,000.
It failed to sell in a virtual auction run by Auction House Cumbria following a last bid of £35,000.
But according to the auctioneers, it was sold after the auction for an undisclosed amount.
The property has a one-bedroom flat on the first floor and was for sale for around £70,000.
