A HOLLYWOOD star shocked glampers when he turned up for an unexpected English countryside photoshoot.

Nick Jonas sets pulses races wherever he goes, whether it’s in Beverly Hills or Rossendale Valley, where he posed for French luxury magazine, L’Official Hommes in February.

There was excitement when one of the Jonas Brothers arrived for the glamorous photoshoot in the hills at Rossendale Holiday Cottages and Glamping, hanging out with the donkeys and cows.

Nick shot to fame as a teenager, forming the band The Jonas Brothers with Joe and Kevin Jonas.

He also starred in the successful Camp Rock disney movie franchise and released hits including Burnin' Up and 'Hold on'.

Following their split in 2013, Nick recorded chart-topping solo tracks like 'Jealous' and 'Chains', but the heart-throb brothers reunited last year with their billboard Hot 100 no.1 'Sucker.'

Director Rachel Wilson received a request from an international production company looking for the perfect location for English countryside themed photos.

Guests who were staying in the glamping pods at Rossendale Holiday Cottages did a double take when they saw the 27-year-old posing on the hillside.

Ms Wilson said: “Although the photoshoot was back in February, before the lockdown, the information has had to be kept top secret until the magazine was published.”

Nick, married to Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, posed against the beautiful backdrop of Rossendale looking suave in three suit outfits.

The celebrity couple married in a lavish ceremony in India and have since been going from strength to strength as they post adorable lockdown pictures together.

Last year Nick joined The Voice USA as a coach on the singing competition show, and also starred in World War Two blockbuster Midway.

The company organising the photoshoot event explained that a celebrity would be present to model the clothes for the shoot but couldn’t say who it was going to be until the day.

Lancashire Telegraph:

A production team booked accommodation at the location on Dean Lane to prepare for the assignment and staff were asked if they could provide animals for the shoot, so borrowed some cows and donkeys from their neighbour.

The Jonas Brothers were stopping by on a tour of Manchester and their catchy ‘What a Man Gotta Do’ was released in January just days before the shoot.

Rossendale even received an honourable mention in the publication and Ms Wilson is hoping, once the tourist location reopens on July 4, people will flock to stay where Nick visited.

She said: “The current restrictions have prevented the delivery of the magazine for now, however there is a digital version online which kindly thanks the staff and the venue.

“This is a very peaceful site, not for the masses, but it does now offer the chance to walk where Nick Jonas did.”
