FIREFIGHTERS tackled a huge fire at a house yesterday evening.
At 17.40pm on June 21, two fire engines from Blackburn Fire Station were called to a domestic premises on St Mary’s Close, Blackburn.
Firefighters extinguished the fire involving a lot of clothing in the property using one hose reel jet, two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
They were in attendance for approximately two hours and ten minutes.
A tweet from the fire Twitter read: "At 17:38 on 21st June 2020, Two Fire Engines from @Blackburn_Fire were mobilised to a domestic premises on St Mary's Close, Blackburn."
