AN ULVERSTON hospice is providing vital support to those who are struggling with bereavement during the coronavirus lockdown.
St Mary's Hospice are offering virtual 'bereavement café' meetings to those who need support whilst unable to attend face to face meetings.
A spokesperson for St Mary's Hospice said: "Bereavement at any time is hard. Bereavement during a period of isolation with restricted movement and limited contact with family and friends is the hardest thing possible.
"Please be assured therefore, that our Family Support and Bereavement service is working hard to adapt our services in every way we can to provide the support that so many people will need.
"As we are unable to meet face to face at present we are holding weekly bereavement café’s online using Zoom for members of our online bereavement group. "
