A DRIVER has been convicted of speeding on a road in Barrow.
Sorin Beniamin Iacob admitted two charges of speeding when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
The 26-year-old was said to have driven over the 30mph limit on Salthouse Road on two occasions in July.
On July 17 he was said to have been recorded driving at 38mph as well as on July 26.
Iacob, of Lyndhurst Road in Oldham, received a fine of £100 and three penalty points for each of the offences.
He was ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
