PLANS: proposals for a one-way system through Ulverston were discussed by the council earlier this week
A GARDENING stall that has served the residents of Ulverston for decades is set to close.
A spokesperson for Ulverston Town Council said: "Jane Lane Nurseries who have been on the outdoor market selling plants for decades are closing as Harry is retiring.
"Best wishes to everybody at Jane Lane and thank you for filling Ulverston's gardens!"
One well wisher said: "I will miss the stall, they always had great plants and friendly advice"
Another said: "Such sad news.. an Ulverston institution! Happy retirement Harry."
