THE adventures of Ted, a stuffed bear, and his five-year-old human companion has come to an end after entertaining neighbours and passers-by for the last two months.

Isaac, a five-year-old Dane Ghyll Community Primary School pupil, and his mum Kelsey-Lianne Smith have been showing off their creativity by mocking up more than 50 different scenes with Ted and his friends.

Mum Kelsey-Lianne said: “These last 66 days of lockdown the teddies have done a fabulous job entertaining us with their antics.

"But it must come to an end as the teddies are going back to work soon.”

A round-up of all of Ted’s antics were uploaded to her Facebook page, asking for people to vote for their favourite scenes so that they can be recreated for the final days of Ted’s adventures.

Ted and his friends appear in new and creative scenes every day, stretching the imagination of Isaac and mum to a whole new level.

Some of the scenes have included a fast food drive-thru, a VE Day celebration, zipwiring and even sunbathing in bikinis.

Third place was announced yesterday, with lifeguard Ted taking a spot in the top three.

Second place will be announced today and first place will be announced tomorrow.

Ted and Isaac have brought lots of smiles to nearby residents, with many passing comments about how it has brightened their day.
