Police have cordoned off Henderson Road after an alleged assault last night (May 29, 2020)
Two people have been arrested after an alleged assault in a Carlisle street.
Police were called to Henderson Road at about 10.30pm last night (May 29).
A spokeswoman for Cumbria Constabulary said: "An assault happened last night and two people were arrested.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
No further details were released by the force, but they did confirm the road is currently closed in both directions.
