A MAN has been told to pay £200 compensation after damaging a mobile phone.
John Joseph O'Leary, of Steamer Street in Barrow, pleaded guilty to damaging the Samsung Galaxy S8 when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
He damaged the phone, belonging to John Greenway, on February 24.
The 66-year-old was given a conditional discharge, told to pay £200 compensation, a £21 surcharge and £85 costs.
