A BARROW teenager has been remanded in custody accused of a domestic violence offence and criminal damage.
Joshua Jones, of no fixed abode, pleaded not guilty to assaulting Tricia Jones when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Thursday via video link.
The 19-year-old is accused of committing the offence at Meadowlands Caravan Park on April 15.
Jones is also accused of assaulting Lee Baines, causing criminal damage to a TV worth £500 belonging to Tricia Jones and causing criminal damage to a TV worth £100 belonging to William Inman.
Those offences are alleged to have happened in Barrow on April 17.
Jones, who was represented in court by Trystan Roberts, was remanded in custody and will next appear at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on June 2.
