AN ULVERSTON hospice is thanking a kind-hearted company after receiving a large donation.
St Mary’s Hospice said thank you to Cater Kwik after being handed an ‘amazing donation’ of £4628.96.
It represents the remainder of donations to Cater Kwik’s Charity Project – NHS Giving Back to Those Giving Everything, which saw their staff and volunteers packing gift boxes for NHS front line staff in the marquee next to Furness General Hospital.
“A huge thank you to Cater Kwik and to all who supported the project - this generous donation means a great deal to St Mary’s, our patients and our staff," said a hospice spokesperson.
“So far we have packed 350 gift boxes for our NHS staff and we are proud of our Cater Kwik team and volunteers who have run the project," said a Cater Kwik spokesperson.
