AN Ulverston business has donated oxygen concentrators to St Mary’s Hospice.
Forge Europe, a light solutions company based in Princes Street, has stepped up in challenging times and donated two much-needed pieces of oxygen therapy equipment to the hospice.
Julie Barton, HR director at Forge and also High Sheriff of Cumbria, said she was 'incredibly proud' of the firm.
“My husband Peter and CEO David have tenaciously sourced and donated two much needed oxygen concentrators to St Mary’s Hospice in Ulverston," said Mrs Barton.
Joanne Blake, head of clinical care at St Mary’s Hospice, expressed her thanks to Forge.
She said: “We are so grateful to you for donating these to us.
"The model is just right for our hospice environment.”
