A PHOTOGRAPHER is documenting lockdown whilst bringing smiles to families with her doorstep images.
Talented photographer Victoria Fryer, from Ulverston, is recording how people are living in lockdown with a series of doorstep photoshoots.
“I was trying to come up with an idea to help raise some money when a friend in Liverpool, where I’m from, told me about how some photographers there were doing doorstep photos,” she said.
“As it was something I could do I decided to ask if there was any interest in Ulverston.
“At first I was going to do it for the NHS but realised that the self isolation group needed some help raising money locally so felt that’s where it was best to donate to with it being a local project.”
She provides residents with a digital copy of the pictures, asking that they make a donation in return.
The pictures are also shared to the ‘Ulverston Self Isolation Group’ on Facebook, where the photographer has seen great reactions to the photographs.
All social distancing distancing guidelines are adhered to during the photoshoots.
