A NUMBER of Barrow organisations have rallied together to create a food delivery service for the town’s most vulnerable families during the coronavirus crisis.

The Well Communities, Love Barrow Families, Drop Zone, Barrow Foodbank & Unity are all working together to deliver home cooked meals and emergency food bank parcels.

A spokesman for Well Fed, the supermarket which is based in Dalton Road, said: “This is partnership working at it’s very best.

“The Well Communities, Love Barrow Families, Drop Zone, Barrow Foodbank & Unity all working together to deliver home cooked meals and emergency food bank parcels to some of Barrow-in-Furness most vulnerable and marginalised families.

“This is why we do what we do.”
