CORONAVIRUS has had a massive impact on all four corners of the world.

From when it began in China four months ago the virus has now spread to at least 183 countries and territories.

The disease has killed more than 66,500 people and infected more than 1.2 million.

Our lives have been changed and it is hard to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

But, while there is a lot of doom and gloom, the virus has also brought out the best of our communities.

From offering a helping hand to neighbours to singing from balconies, these gestures of kindness bring smiles to faces.

After schools shut, leaving parents desperately thinking how to entertain their children, pictures of rainbows began to pop up in windows up and down the country. The phenomenon spreads goodwill messages to those keyworkers who are risking everything to help those in need.

It's not just for NHS staff to see but for all keyworkers who are going out to work every day to keep the country running.

That is why The Mail has printed a big rainbow on pages 20 and 21 of today's paper.

Put the picture in your window and display it with pride. It might just bring a smile to someone's face.
