A skincare company has donated hundreds of bottles of hand balm to help NHS workers working on the frontline in the battle against coronavirus.
Pure Lakes, based in Staveley, is donating one hand balm for every order placed via its website.
So far, over 200 have been donated to NHS workers in Scotland, Belfast, Carlisle, London, Manchester and Morecambe Bay.
Managing director Gareth McKeever who owns the business with wife Claire said: “Claire and I have many members of our family and close friends working in the front line to keep us all safe. We are so glad to be able to do our very small part.
"My own mother was a nurse and our amazing NHS is especially close to both our hearts."
NHS nurse Manus McCrory said: ‘Our team are working round the clock and with constant washing our hands are shredded.
"Pure Lakes and their customers have given us some much-needed moisture for our hands, as well as something spoiling which we all need right now.’
