A FUNDRAISING page raising money for Furness General Hospital has smashed its £3000 target, and currently sits at £3395 at the time of writing.
Bingo nights, DJ sets, live quizzes and more are all promised on Barrow’s newest isolation party page.
Score a winning ticket in a raffle or take part in a virtual pub quiz - all from the comfort of your own home on the Facebook page 'Isolation Kitchen Party'.
Set up by BAE shipyard worker Scott McArthur, the Isolation Kitchen Party is a space of sharing content and laughs with the local community. Initially established as a way for BAE staff to communicate away from the yard, the page has now surpassed more than a 1,000 members from across the country.
Mr McArthur, said the page had helped friends struggling with mental health during self-isolation.
Within two days, the Go Fund Me page had raised nearly £3,000 for the hospital.
