EXERCISE: The main part of Ford Park remains open to visitors
A PLAYGROUND has closed in Ulverston's Ford Park in line with government restrictions although the park itself remains open.
Visitors are also being asked to take home their rubbish.
Staff said on Twitter: “The park remains open for fresh air and exercise whilst maintaining the appropriate social distance.
"Thank you to everyone who has been taking rubbish home with them.
"Please continue to do this if you can as we will be unable to empty the bins as often as usual."
