THE South Lakes MP has urged the government to provide an immediate financial support package for the self-employed to cope with the coronavirus impact.
Tim Farron is lobbying for a package of support for the almost 11,000 self-employed people in the South Lakes to help deal with the effects of COVID-19.
“The Government has taken swift and welcome action to support businesses and employees," said Mr Farron.
“Now we need to see a similar package of support for the self-employed who are in real stress at this difficult time.”
