RAIL staff have reported a huge drop in passenger numbers amid the coronavirus lockdown.
British Transport Police officers noted an almost deserted station at Lancaster ahead of the arrival of one of the busiest services to Barrow.
A solitary officer was pictured on the platform just moments before the 9.02pm train to Barrow arrived.
BTP posted on Twitter: "One of our busiest trains on a Saturday night is the 2102 hrs service to #BarrowInFurness. Not tonight. Two people boarded, and one person alighted."
