PARAMEDICS and firefighters rescued a person from a house after a gas leak.
Three fire engines responded to a call to Holebeck Road in Barrow.
Crews used a gas monitor and two breathing apparatus to help a casualty out of the property who was then cared for by paramedics.
Firefighters were at the incident, at 8.30am yesterday, for around half and hour.
