A CHEMIST has had to resort to allowing only one customer at a time in the store due to the risk of contamination.
Customers were seen queuing down market street in Dalton to go into Lloyd’s pharmacy yesterday because of this new measure.
The Government has issued a further warning about social distancing which has been strictly adhered to by this pharmacy.
It advises we should all be implementing social distancing measures to reduce social interaction between people, in order to reduce the transmission of coronavirus.
This is especially the case with high-risk people such as the over 70s and those with underlying conditions.
This may include many who go to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions for these long-term health conditions, which puts them in the high risk category.
