MARKS & Spencer has issued an urgent recall for a food item due to allergy concerns.
The supermarket, which has a shop in Barrow’s Dalton Road, has told shoppers to return its M&S Chicken Bites product.
The products are said to contain egg which is not mentioned on the packaging, posing a potential risk to customers’ health.
In a recall notice, The Food Standards Agency said: “Marks & Spencer is recalling M&S Chicken Bites because they contain egg which is not mentioned on the label.”
