The conditions at Millom parkrun were described as testing by those who attended.

Taking the first place for the men was John Rodgers in 26.49, taking second place was Daniel King in 27.16 and in third place was Jacob Miles in 29.03.

Taking the first place for the women was Rachel Read in 34.36, in second place was Ruth Moore in 38.26 and in third place was Helen Cooper in 40.31.

Barrow parkrun saw lots of fast finishing times for its 434th run.

In first place for the men was Luca Messenger Jones in 19.06, in second place was Sean Roberts in 19.24 and in third place was Cameron Bell in 19.28.

In first place for the ladies was Georgia Bell in 21.14, in second place was Karen Ann Maggio-Poyntz in 22.38, and in third place was Hilary Hennah in 23.55.

Fell Foot parkrun attracted a great turnout of 151 runners.

The first to cross the finish line for the men was Graham Smith in 19.01, in second place was Chris Moran in 19.13, and in third place was Spencer Moran in 19.21.

The first to cross the finish line for the women was Kim Baxter in 21.13, in second place was Alicia Newing in 21.24, and in third place was Michelle Crowley in a new personal best of 21.47.

Ulverston’s Ford parkrun saw a weekend of great achievement, with 21 runners earning themselves a new personal best.

Leading the way to first place for the men was Charlie Batho in a new personal best of 19.43, in second place was Glenn Boulter in 21.00 and following behind in third place was Oliver Oldham in 21.11.

Leading the way to first place for the ladies was Heather Travis in 23.27, in second place was Rebekah Beadle in 23.52, and following behind in third place was Sarah Bouffler in 24.17.

All parkrun organisers thanked the volunteers who make the Saturday events possible.
