A BURGER chain has apologised to a Barrow customer after they had a disappointing breakfast.

A Twitter user posted pictures of the breakfast to McDonald's in which they complained about a lacklustre portion of porridge and hash browns which were stuck to the bag.

They said: "Very disappointing visit... Porridge pot nowhere near the fill line and three hash browns stuck to the wrapper unable to be eaten... simply not good enough."

McDonald's apologised for the quality of the food.
