Hundreds of homes were briefly without power in north Carlisle after a power cut this afternoon.
Electricity North West engineers restored power to 377 homes in the CA3 area after a brief outage.
A spokesman for Electricity North West said: “We received reports of a power cut affecting 377 properties in Carlisle at 1:40pm due to a fault with an underground electricity cable.
“We responded immediately and remotely restored power to all customers within the hour at 2:27pm.
