A Whitehaven man was handed a restraining order and a tag for harassment.

Aaron Jones, 23, of Coach Road, appeared at the magistrates court in Workington on Monday.

He pleaded guilty to harassing a woman between February 12 and 15.

He also admitted possessing a quantity of amphetamine, a class B drug, on February 15.

Jones was given a restraining order preventing him from contacting the woman and he was handed a 14-week curfew.

He was also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

The court ordered the drugs be forfeited and destroyed.
