TAX: Barrow Town Hall
THE amount of Barrow Borough Council tax outstanding for the 2019/20 year is more than £2.5 million.
As of the time of the Freedom of Information (FOI) request on January 31, 2020 the amount of money Barrow council is owed is £2,532,080.
Upon this request it was stated by the freedom of information team said it is being collected by monthly instalments, arrangements, attachment of earnings, deduction of benefit, enforcement agents, bankruptcy, charging Orders.
It was also added that the amount of council tax written off for 2019/20 was £2,482.
