What I do not get is why those lazy people can carry the rubbish with them when it is full of drink or food, but yet they cannot carry it to a bin when it is empty."

Janice Cumming said: "I did a litter pick on the Ireleth Road. Loads of empty coffee cups, just thrown out of car windows. But what shocked me was empty half bottles of vodka, empty cider and beer cans. People must be drinking them while driving. That's scary."

Frances Hartley said: "The same all over, I am constantly picking other folks rubbish up. Also a lot comes from skips, and stuff that builders use I. e. Bags from cement, sand and industrial plastic wrapping."

Lee Daniel George said: "I caught a Golf outside of Kendal yesterday on my dash cam chucking a can out of his car in the lay by before setting back off again.."

Bernadette Horan said: "It is disgusting over the mosses too... I work at Flookburgh and passing the rubbish strewn all over is a disgrace."
