AN Askam pensioner is due to go on trial tomorrow after he denied harassing his wife by fitting a tracker to her car.
William Robert Simpson, of Blea Beck, is accused of pursuing a course of conduct amounting to the harassment and stalking Susan of Simpson on various dates between June 1 and July 23 of last year.
The allegations are listed as a domestic violence case.
The 66-year-old is alleged to have constantly called and messaged her, contacted her at her place of work, and making allegations against her.
He is also accused of setting up a Facebook page about her and fitting a tracker to her car.
He pleaded not guilty when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in January.
Simpson, who will be represented in court by Mike Graham, is due to go on trial at the same court tomorrow.
The trial is scheduled to last around three hours.
