IT has been revealed that Antarctica has recorded it's highest ever temperature, going above 20 degrees celcius for the first time.
A spokesman for Extinction Rebellion Furness said: "The record heat recorded in Antarctica, the fires in Australia, Brazil, and even the Arctic, flooding throughout the world, weather records broken regularly over the past few decades and now accelerating - oh and the unprecedented storms being seen here now - are not evidence of climate change. At least that's what some people would have us believe.
"They should look at the science. We are in the sixth mass extinction the planet has experienced - we're not talking about the minor climate fluctuations that have occurred in human history. The extinctions were all caused by emissions of greenhouse gases. The last ones were caused by volcanic activity, this one, of course, by us.
"Can we please stop making ourselves extinct?"
