THIS weeks winner of Bouquet of the Week is a friend with the kindest soul.

Chantelle Docherty, from Barrow, has nominated Yasmin Raven for being such a good and decent person, no matter what life throws at her.

Chantelle Docherty said: “I would like to nominate my friend Yasmin raven for bouquet of the week.

“The past 18 months have been very difficult for her and she has still started a new social work course in September at college and then works over 30 hours a week every night after college and brings up her six-year-old daughter Amelia who is an absolute credit to her.

“She makes me so proud all that she has dealt with and still does everything she can for her daughter and her career.

“It would be lovely for her to realise how special she is and how proud I am of her.

“We have been friends since we were 12.

“We met at school, she practically lived with me on and off throughout our teen years... we got called twins as we were never apart.

“Yasmin has stayed a decent person and good friend even after some very tough times when most people would crumble.

“She has always done lots of little things that show what a good friend she is.

“She cooked for me every week after I finished work, she looked after my daughter when I was a single parent and she came round and cleaned my house when I was moving house.

“I can’t think of a specific big thing as she is such a consistent person.”

Yasmin Raven, 27, an employee at TK Maxx said: “Thank you Chantelle for your kind nomination.

“Thank you for all your love and support over the last 10 years and especially over the last 18 months.

“It has brightened my day receiving this lovely bouquet.

“Love you!”
