A SEX offender convicted of possessing almost 900 indecent images of children and animals will be sentenced tomorrow.
Nathan Brian Parker admitted to offences that included making more than 600 indecent photos of children when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court.
The defendant, whose address was given in court as Preston Prison, was also charged with possessing an image of a person performing a sex act with an animal.
The 26-year-old is due to be sentenced at crown court.
The court was told that just before 11am on September 24, police conducted an unannounced visit to Parker’s home address.
He was said to have made admissions to them that he had been looking at pictures.
The offences were all said to have occurred between February 5 2018 and July 12 2019.
