ULVERSTON Railway Station is now in the '21st century' thanks to an electronic information board.
The new board, advising passengers of trains departing and arriving at the station, has been installed on the platform.
One Twitter user shared a picture of the new board and said: "Ulverston station just got a fancy new info board.
"Welcome to the 21st century!"
Over the next nine years Northern, which manages Ulverston and Barrow stations, is investing £9bn in its trains, stations and infrastructure.
