SITE: The City Lynx Taxi office in Barrow could become a shop
A NEWSAGENT selling products from Romania, Russia, Lithuania and Poland could soon open in Barrow.
An application submitted to Barrow Borough Council to change the use of the former City Lynx base in Church Street was approved by councillors.
The applicant has already invested £3,500 in equipment and fixtures and fittings for the newsagents including a till, fridge, cigarette cabinet, security cameras and shelving.
According to the application the shop could move into the town centre once established.
