AN APPRENTICESHIP event is set to take place in Barrow next month, for people who are seeking information about possible opportunities coming up in the area.
Cumbria County Council has revealed that it will soon be recruiting to a wide range of rewarding apprenticeship opportunities, in areas like engineering and construction, project management, business administration, social care and more.
Prospective apprentices have been invited to come and meet the council's current apprentices, and apprenticeship team, to find out if they can help.
The event is set to take place at Barrow fire station on Monday, February 3, and will take place between 4pm and 6pm.
This is one of three apprenticeship events being run in Cumbria next month to help improve employability for residents in the region.
The two other events being put on are going to take place in Penrith and Carlisle so this is the only event for those who live in south Cumbria interested in apprenticeships.
