A BARROW man has appeared in court accused of eight sex offences against young girls.
Darren Raven, of Victoria Road, appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The 51-year-old is accused of indecent assault between 2002 and 2003, sexual assault between 2006 and 2007, sexual touching between 2007 and 2009, engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a girl between 2007 and 2008, and four counts of sexual touching, all between 2002 and 2008.
Raven was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on February 14.
Bail conditions prevent him from having unsupervised contact with a child, from contacting any of the alleged victims or witnesses, or to sleep or reside at any address where children are living.
