A BARROW cafe and community hub is back up and running, after announncing a temporary closure.
In a social media post this morning, the Round House Hub and Cafe on Biggar Bank Road told Barrovians that it would be shutting its doors until further notice, owing to its kitchen boiler and dishwasher having broken down.
The cafe explained: "With not having either of these [the boiler and the dishwasher], we are unable to hand wash or pot wash, so we have no other option than to close until these are back in action."
However, just an hour later it announced that it was back in action and would be open as usual until 5pm.
The cafe apologised for any inconvenience caused by the brief closure today: "Sorry again to anyone who missed their brew and cake this morning!"
