THE FIRST 'Cinema at the Vic' screening at Grange's Victoria Hall this year is the movie version of historical period TV drama, Downton Abbey.
Julian Fellowes' series, which follows the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family in the lead-up to the First World War and the interwar period, was made into a feature-length film production, airing last September.
Michael Engler's big screen adaptation centres on the Crawley family's preparations for a royal visit from the king and queen of England.
The screening begins in the Victoria Hall's main hall space this Sunday at 7pm. Food and refreshments are available. Tickets cost five pounds for adults and three pounds for children.
