400 homes without power
Hundreds of homes have been left without power.
Residents in Bootle have currently facing power cuts, Electricity North West says.
Around 400 homes are said to be without power, with engineers sent to remedy the situation.
Electricity North West said: We are aware of a power cut in Bootle and Ravenglass affecting around 400 customers.
"Our engineers are currently en route & a further update will follow."
